Puppy & Adult Feeding Guide

A healthy guide to good eating...

This is a guide to getting your puppy & adult dog eating well, keeping them fit and healthy during all the crucial early stages of their development as it's a vital step for a long and healthy life with your beloved fur baby.

Main Meal - Option 1

Chicken thigh cutlets chopped with broccoli, carrot, green beans on a bed of rice, dressed with a tablespoon of fish oil for better digestion.

Prep time 10-15min.

Main Meal - Option 2

Chicken thigh cutlets with broccoli, green beans, carrot in a warm beef pasta broth, dressed with a tablespoon of fish oil for better digestion.

Prep time 10-15min.

Bonus Treats:

Adding a raw chicken egg can offer extra natural protein.

Sometimes they'll eat the shell and all, which holds calcium.

Fish, liver and kidney are a great addition to any meal.

The portions

will vary depending on the weight and age of your puppy.

A good starting point for puppies weighing 15-20kg would be serving between 300-500g.

Main Meal - Option 3

The following 4 alternatives are great for in between main meals, and as a standalone snack or treat, however, can also serve as main meal supplements.

These include:

Chicken Necks; Pet Mince (Chicken or Beef); Chicken Drumette’s or Chicken Hearts.

Puppies will require a minimum of 3 or 4 main meals a per day and will need to be reduced as your pup develops.

Chicken Drummets

&

Chicken Hearts

Both readily available at your local butchers or supermarket.

Pet Mince

Chicken, Beef & Kangaroo are great options.

COOKED BONES

Eggs.jpg

Dogs can safely eat cooked eggs, which are an excellent source of protein, fatty acids, and vitamins that support joint, bone, and skin health. Eggs should be served plain—boiled or scrambled—without oil, butter, salt, or seasonings to avoid digestive upset. Limit to one egg per day, with smaller dogs needing less.
