Internal Whelping Pens
Internal Whelping Pens
Our purpose-built internal pens provide a safe, comfortable and peaceful sanctuary for our expectant mums throughout whelping and the early stages of raising their puppies.
Designed with their comfort and wellbeing in mind, our facilities feature underfloor heating during winter, independent pen heating, evaporative cooling, ceiling and extraction fans, and dedicated ventilation for the warmer months, along with plenty of natural sunlight year-round.

Each pen is acoustically treated to promote a calm environment, providing a comfortable space for both resting and active mums. For added peace of mind, our facility is equipped with 24/7 motion-sensor CCTV monitoring, both internally and externally, allowing us to keep a close eye on our mums and their puppies and respond promptly whenever assistance is needed.

Fresh, filtered drinking water is also available at all times, ensuring our mums have constant access to clean water throughout their stay.
At Crystal Creek Kennels, the comfort, safety and wellbeing of our mums and their puppies are always our highest priority.
External Whelping Runs

All our breeding mums also enjoy generous access to fresh air, natural daylight and spacious outdoor areas throughout the puppy-rearing period.
Our large, secure play area provides plenty of room for both mums and their puppies to stretch their legs, explore, play and exercise in a safe and enriching environment.

At Crystal Creek Kennels, we believe that a balance of comfortable indoor facilities and outdoor enrichment is essential to supporting the health, happiness and wellbeing of our mums and their growing puppies.

Our external accommodation pens have been designed to provide generous space, comfort and freedom of movement, offering twice the minimum floor area specified in the applicable Code of Practice requirements.

Each pen is independently plumbed, providing continuous access to fresh, filtered drinking water, with water troughs available to our dogs at all times. Automatic feeding stations are also installed to support scheduled feeding routines and allow for additional intermittent snacking where appropriate.
All pens are inspected and thoroughly cleaned daily to maintain hygienic, comfortable living conditions throughout the year. Each outdoor area also provides ample shelter and shade from the summer sun, along with protection from wind and rain, ensuring our dogs have a safe and comfortable environment in all weather conditions.

Agility Yards
Agility Yards
Our spacious agility yards are nestled among the beautiful Yarra Valley ranges, surrounded by acres of rolling hills and open countryside. These expansive areas provide our dogs with plenty of room to run, explore, play and enjoy the outdoors in a natural and stimulating environment.

Our dogs also enjoy mini swimming pools for splashing around and cooling off during warmer weather, along with a wide variety of toys to keep them entertained. Playtime often involves plenty of running, chasing, social interaction and playful wrestling, helping to encourage confidence, healthy development and positive socialisation.
All our dogs are inspected daily and enjoy regular exercise twice a day to help maintain their fitness, strength and overall wellbeing throughout the year. Combined with a well-balanced, nutritious diet and plenty of opportunities for enrichment, we strive to ensure every dog at Crystal Creek Kennels enjoys an active, happy and fulfilling life.
